To create a team on TomorrowsPro.com

  1. Login with your e-mail address and password
  2. Click on "Create Team" under "Teams" in the top navigation bar
  3. Fill in the form as seen in the screen shot below:
    • Team Name (ex. New York Demos)
    • Team Location (ex. New York, NY)
    • Team League (ex. NYC Little League)
    • Sport (ex. Baseball)
    • Games Played Percentage required to appear at top of stats (ex. 25% More Info)
  4. Stat input Options (ex. Players can only view their stats) - These options allow you to give your players access to add or edit their stats. It is set to view only by default.
  5. Team form continued:
    • Team Sharing Options (ex. Public)
      • Public teams are not indexed by google, but if someone has the URL, they can view your team page. This option must be selected if you want any pieces of your team page to be public. This setting opens up the URL to the public and below you can select which sections of the team you wish to be public.
      • Private teams only allow members of the team to view the team page. You must appear on the roster in some capacity to have access. This includes Coaches, Admins, Players & Parents.
      • The most private option has all of the features of the Private option plus one more. Non-Admins (Players & Parents) can only see their stats or their children's stats on the stats page. They will also be able to see the team totals. Note: This does not affect the "Team Leaders" section. It will continue to show the names of the top players and their stats.

  6. Team Section Share Settings
    • Each section has three available options for sharing:
      • Team Coaches/Admins
      • All Team Members (Parents Included)
        • This includes every member of any roster on the team including the parents roster.
      • Public
        • This option will allow anyone with the team URL to see this section. Choosing this option will only work if you also set the "Team Sharing Options" setting to "Public" as well. That is the master setting and each section can only truly be public if that setting is also set to "Public".
• The sections available for sharing options are as follows:
      • Team Leaders
      • Team Player Stats
      • Team Schedule
      • Team Roster
      • Team Game Roster/Lineup
      • Team Parent Roster
  7. Submit the form by clicking the submit button at the bottom and you will be redirected to your new team page which looks as follows:

How to invite a team to a game

TomorrowsPro now supports game invitations for games you wish to schedule with other teams in the system. Until now, you only had the option to enter the name of the team. With this new functionality, you can invite other teams that use TomorrowsPro to games in the system. The game will immediately appear on your schedule and you can update it like any other game even if the other team never accepts the invite. If the other team does accept the invite, both teams will now share the game and have access to edit it. (Note: Your team stats CANNOT be edited by the other team.) The other team will have access to edit any field on the "Edit Game" page and each coach on the opposing team will be e-mailed anytime there is an update.

Here are some screenshots of how the process works:

Click "Select Team Already in System"

Search for the team you wish to add.

Once you find the team, click "Select Team". This will bring you back to the form. Fill out the remaining fields and click one of the buttons to add the game. The "Add Game" button will add the game and immediately take you to the edit screen for that newly created game. The "Add and Add More" button will add the game and take you to a window to add another game.

As you submit the game a game invite e-mail will be sent out to all the other coaches of the opposing team. The e-mail contains information about the game and how to accept or reject the invite.

This is how the game invite request will appear on the opposing coach's requests page. The opposing team will have the option of which season they will add the game to.

While you are waiting for the opposing coaches to accept or decline your invite, you will see the game listed as "Pending" on your schedule. If they reject the game invite, the "Pending" will disappear, but the game and all information entered thus far will remain as any other game would.

Sports Scoring Help

Here is a compiled list of all sports we have created a how-to guide for. In time we will fill this list with all sports we offer.

How to enter stats for Baseball - Hitting

In order to score your hitting stats correctly, follow these instructions:

Fields for Entry:
PA = Plate Appearances - Enter the number of times the player was up at bat no matter what the outcome. (If a pinch hitting replaces a batter while they are at bat it will only count as a plate appearance for the pinch hitter unless the pinch hitter was put in with 2 strikes and they strikeout. In this case the plate appearance goes to the batter who had the 2 strike count. Also, if a runner makes the third out while a player is at bat, this plate appearance is not counted at this time. This batter will lead off the next inning and the plate appearance will be counted then.)
1B = Singles - Enter the number of singles the player had in the game.
2B = Doubles - Enter the number of doubles the player had in the game.
3B = Triples - Enter the number of triples the player had in the game.
HR = Home Runs - Enter the number of home runs the player had in the game.
R = Runs - Enter the number of runs the player scored in the game.
RBI = Runs Batted In - Enter the number of batters that scored because of your at-bat. (Do not include any runs that score because of a fielder's error unless they would have scored even if there wasn't an error on the play. Also do not count an RBI if the batter grounds into a double play.) Runs scored during a pitch that results in a passed ball should be credited as an RBI for the batter.
BB = Walks - Enter the number of walks the player had in the game.
HBP = Hit by Pitch - Enter the number of times the player was hit by a pitch while they were batting.
K = Strikeouts - Enter the number of times the player struck out during the game.
SB = Stolen Bases - Enter the number of successful stolen bases the player had during the game. (Do not include any bases taken on passed balls or anytime the defense strategically allows you to take a base. ex There are runners on first and third. Runner on first runs to second but the catcher doesn't throw because he is worried about the runner from third scoring. This is a defensive indifference and should not be counted as an SB.)
CS = Caught Stealing - Enter the number of times the player was thrown out while trying to steal a base.
SH = Sacrifice Hits - Enter the number of sacrifice bunts the player had in the game. (Any scenario where you bunt to advance a runner with less than two outs.)
SF = Sacrifice Flies - Enter the number of sacrifice flies the player had during the game. (A teammate must score on the sacrifice fly for it to count in this column.)
DI = Defensive Interference - Enter the number of times the player reached base because of catcher's interference or any other interference that automatically puts the batter on first base.
ROE = Reached on Error - Enter the number of times the player reached first base due to a fielding error.
FC = Fielder's Choice - Enter the number of times the player reached first base due to the defense electing to make an out elsewhere even though they would have gotten the player out if they tried. (Ask yourself if the player would have been out if there weren't any other people on base. This will also be a judgement call if they try to made an out elsewhere but don't get the ball there in time. If they had not tried to get the other baserunner out, would the batter have been out?)

Calculated Fields:
AB = At Bats - The equation is AB = PA - BB - HBP - SH - SF - DI
H = Hits - The equation is H = 1B + 2B + 3B + HR
AVG = Batting Average - The equation is AVG = (H/AB)
OBP = On Base Percentage - The equation is OBP = ((H + BB + HBP)/(AB + BB + HBP + SF))
SLG% = Slugging Percentage - The equation is SLG% = ((1B + (2*2B) + (3*3B) + (4*HR))/AB)
OPS = On Base Percentage + Slugging Percentage - The equation is OPS = OBP + SLG%
