TomorrowsPro Sports Stats iPhone/iPad App is available in the App Store

Submitted by Frank on 04/09/2012

The brand new app brings a mobile component to the TomorrowsPro offering. The app's primary function right now is to update your stats during a game in a quick and easy manner. Coaches will also have the ability to enter in the final game results. All stats updating works for coaches, players, and parents. See the TomorrowsPro's Official Mobile Page for screenshots and more details on the app features.

We will be adding features as fast as we can over the coming weeks so stay tuned for more updates...

Minimum percentage of games played for stat significance

Submitted by Frank on 06/13/2010

This functionality has been a long time coming. Everyone has the person playing on their team that shows up to one game and has the best game of their life. From that point on, they appear at the top of their stats because they have the best averages on the team. Since stats like this don't significantly prove that these players are indeed having the best season, there is new functionality introduced today that will drop these players to the bottom of the stats.

Entering partial innings for Baseball/Softball

Submitted by Frank on 04/19/2010

Lately, a lot of members have been asking about partial innings. The site is setup to take innings just like you would see in a major league box score.

If you wish to enter 2 1/3 innings, you would put 2.1 in the innings field. If you wish to enter 2 2/3 innings, you would put 2.2 in the innings field.

If you enter 2.3 in the innings field, it will actually add up and equal out to 3 full innings.

You haven't seen any blog posts in a while and that's because there haven't been any new features. Don't worry, there are new features coming up soon. The past month or so has been spent updating a lot of the behind the scenes technology, most of which you probably haven't noticed, but are necessary to keep the site running smoothly. Stay tuned for new features coming soon!

Team Stats Filters Available Now

Submitted by Frank on 06/21/2009

Team Filters are now available for the full season view. They work the same as the individual filters and now we have added the option to filter by Player on top of the game filtering we have for individual filters. Here is a screen shot of the new filtering form for teams.

There will not be a filtering capability added for the "By Game" view because you can get those same views from the full season filtering.

Filtering now available for Individual Stats

Submitted by Frank on 06/07/2009

One of the most powerful features that has been missing from TomorrowsPro is the ability to have your stats your way for reporting, etc. With that being said, filtering is now available on your individual season stats as well as your career stats. These filters can be applied to the stat grid view as well as the graphs. Any filter being applied to the stats grid will also be applied to the graphs and the print views. This allows you to print reports for the last 7 games if you would like.

Print view for Players for all Sub-Sports on one page

Submitted by Frank on 05/20/2009

A lot of coaches have asked for an easy way to print off each player's stats so they can hand them out to their players at games. In response, we have added a new print view found under the "Print Profile" link. This link will pop-up a page exactly like the other player print view, but it will include all sub-sport stats for that season. This means if you play Baseball or Softball, this print view will include Hitting, Pitching and Fielding stats on one page.

Update to Baseball/Softball Sports Stats

Submitted by Frank on 04/12/2009

The changes to the way you enter stats for baseball and softball has been pushed out to the site. Both baseball and softball hitting stats will now be based off of plate appearances. We have also added categories for singles, sacrifice hits/bunts, defensive interference, reached on error, and fielder's choice. If you see any negative numbers in your stats, this means that you have been scoring things incorrectly. Please check the guides mentioned below on how you can fix these errors.
